With our pediatric telehealth services, you can connect with a trusted Advocate Health Care pediatrician from home or wherever you are. It’s a convenient way to get the expert care your child needs that fits your schedule.
What is pediatric telehealth?
Pediatric telehealth makes it easier to get care for your child without having to leave home. It’s also called telemedicine, video visits or virtual care.
Using your phone, tablet or computer, you can connect with a trusted provider over video or secure e-visit messaging to get a diagnosis, ask questions or manage your child’s routine care.
Things to know about pediatric telemedicine
Telehealth is available to everyone in your family. For kids under 18, you’ll need to be their legally authorized representative. Learn more about proxy/dependent care.
With pediatric telehealth, you have choices when it comes to how you manage your child's health. Virtual visit options include:
- Schedule a video visit appointment to see your child’s pediatric virtual primary care provider
- Hop on a pediatric Quick Care Video Visit to get care from the next available telehealth provider
- If offered, you can see your child’s existing provider or other members of their established care team via video visit during office hours
You can also send a message to get care with an e-visit for kids 2-11 – simply complete a questionnaire and receive an email response from the next available telehealth provider within an hour. Your e-visit can also be sent to your child’s established in-person provider or virtual pediatric primary care provider for a response within 24 hours.

When using one of our pediatric telehealth offerings, you’ll need to be physically located in Illinois or Wisconsin at the time of your visit.
