Family resources

Find a doctor

There’s a lot of health information out there aimed at families. Sometimes it’s hard to know which sources are best. At Advocate Children’s Hospital, our primary care team has compiled a few of our most trusted health resources.

You can call your child’s pediatrician 24/7 with urgent questions and concerns. Our clinics also offer convenient evening and Saturday appointments in locations near your home.

This online library includes health and safety topics for all ages. Parents can learn about health topics and conditions and get wellness and caregiving tips.

Our teen section also provides answers to age-specific questions about health, emotions, and moving into adulthood. Children and teens will both find age-appropriate health information, videos, and games. Sign in to our KidsHealth library.

Online support

We offer convenience and extra support when you need it:

  • LiveWell: Health care doesn’t stop when our offices close. With LiveWell, you can find care, make appointments, pay bills, get medication refills, and more.
  • NowPow: Community resources can provide valuable support to you and your family. At each appointment, your child’s doctor can refer you to a list of community supports from a group called NowPow that is right for you.
