Rehabilitation therapy services
We provide evaluation and therapy services for children from birth through school age who are experiencing developmental challenges related to delayed or atypical development. Rehabilitation therapies will help your child achieve their highest potential by facilitating language, motor and sensory/cognitive development. Services include
Therapists work closely with the medical and behavioral health staff of the Pediatric Development Center at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center to provide comprehensive family-focused services. Many of our therapists have specialized training in the following areas:
- Developmental issues of premature and medically fragile infants
- Language disorders including stuttering and childhood apraxia of speech (difficulty with the physical act of speaking)
- Language, sensory and motor issues related to autism
- Motor disabilities such as cerebral palsy
- Neonatal and childhood feeding disorders
- Sensory integration disorders
- Difficulties with attention and behavioral regulation
