Philosophy of care

As a team, we are passionate about caring for pediatric patients with complex and chronic medical conditions. We know it is important to listen to each family; to recognize, respect, and use each family’s strengths to better the lives of those we care for.

We believe that inter-professional support for children with medical complexities and their families can strengthen the family as a whole. Our goal is to ensure that each family is involved in care planning for their child and fully understands the treatment plan.

Our team feels it serves the patient and family best to provide exceptional outpatient care, reducing the time a patient needs to be cared for in the hospital and maximizing time at home.
